FOTD – September 6 – Grevillea
Flower of the Day Challenge
A perfect bird attacting Australian Native.
Grevillea – Peaches and Cream from my garden.
This medium size shrub lends itself to use in a small garden. It will tolerate a wide range of conditions, including humidity as well as drought, and frost down to −5 °C (23 °F). Perfect for my low maintanence coastal garden.
Love this variety of Grevillea – there’s a couple in the Royal Botanic Gardens here that I’ve photographed and enjoyed. Such a soft pastel colour compared to most Grevilleas.
Yes I am impressed with how well it has grown, I am working on a hedge planting across the back of the yard. This one is already attracting Eastern Spinebills.
Thanks for posting this one Mim, I have wondered what the flower on this one looks like.
